The Fitzroy Art Collective

The Fitzroy Art collective is a multi-function space, with a total area of 100 square metres and a capacity for 150 guests. The space is available seven days a week for those looking to host birthday parties, private functions, corporate meetings, workshops, launches, musical performances, poetry readings, dances, educational classes, wakes, hen’s nights, life drawing, yoga, film screenings, art exhibitions and much more.

The building, situated in the heart of the inner north, is an old boot factory that has been converted into an art gallery, a perfect mix of old and new Fitzroy. The outer walls of the building feature the works of local artists, whilst the interior walls exhibit the works of art students at our regular life drawing classes. Wooden floor boards make for the perfect surface for dancing, whilst the “saw tooth” ceiling serves as a reminder of the halls industrial origin. Makeshift lighting, combined with collected oddities strewn throughout, provide a bohemian atmosphere.
Hall rental includes access to a kitchen, unisex toilet, wide screen tv, stage, microphone, speaker system, couches, chairs, foldout tables, heaters, fans, fridge, freezer, tea station. The space itself is completely customisable, the setup of the hall is tailored to your needs.
